The vast majority of girls in rural Ethiopia, and so many other countries, do not have access to adequate menstrual hygiene products.
Dignity Period's outreach extends to the Tigray and Afar regions of northern Ethiopia, which have
been severely impacted by the pandemic and ongoing conflict.
During the pandemic, Dignity Period provided pad kits to post-partum mothers through a collaboration at Ayder Hospital in Mekelle and to internally displaced refugees in the Tigray region.
