Locations We Serve

Dignity Period's work started in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. During the civil war in that area and the global pandemic, Dignity Period turned its focus to discovery the period poverty problem in the United States. Today, Dignity Period serves three areas: Ethiopia, St. Louis, Mo., and Seattle, Wa.

Ethiopia

Since its founding in 2014, Dignity Period has worked in the Tigray and Afar regions of northern Ethiopia to educate over 336,000 female and male students to alleviate fear and stigma often associated with menstruation.

Seattle, Washington

Seattle is our newest service area. We partner Compass Health to distribute Dignity Period Kits to those in need throughout five counties in Northwest Washington.

St. Louis, Missouri

Dignity Period provides menstrual health education and supplies through the St. Louis public schools, local libraries, food pantries, and diaper banks to ensure a wide distribution of period kits throughout the St. Louis region.
